Document Description
As part of the development of 11.3 acres into a business center, the operator proposes to install a 48 inch outfall structure on the south bank of Marsh Creek in Brentwood, Contra Costa County. Marsh Creek is a perennial creek located north of Sand Creek Road, approximately 140 feet east of the East Bay Regional Park trail connection. The existing outfall structures on the south bank, an 18 inch outfall structure located approximately 20 feet east of the trail, and the EECID 24 inch outfall along the eastern property line, will both be removed and the south bank will be restored. The proposed 48 inch outfall structure will be installed according to the Contra Costa County Modified B-50 design. Approximately 600 square feet of riprap will be placed on the bank and in the bed of the creek around the pipe. Grout will be used only in the flow line portion of the riprap. All other riprap shall be left loose and covered with soil. The project is located on the south bank of Marsh Creek in Brentwood, Contra Costa County. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2001-0910 pursuant to Section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code to the project operator, Michael Conley/CP Management, LLC.
