Document Description
Installation of a siltation basin at the southern end of a tributary to Black Canyon Slough to alleviate erosion upstream of the site. The area of disturbance will be approximately 195 feet long by 80 feet wide. The concrete spillway will be 60 feet long and eight (8) feet wide. There will be 84 square feet of "light" class rock used in the construction of the dissipating area. The second dissipating area will be seven (7) feet long and 28 feet wide. The construction of the spillway will also include 60 linear feet of 24-inch corrugated metal pipe. There will also be a dissipating area at the basin inlet. The disturbed areas will be re-vegetated by hydro-seeding with a native plant mix and planting of native shrub and tree species. The project is located at 960 Zenon Way, Arroyo Grande, California 93420. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2001-0193 pursuant to Section 1601 of the Fish and Game Code to the project operator, Mr. Eugene Choin.
