Construct 25 feet of fencing around one oak at campsite #22. Remove wood stobbers. Relocate the campsite combination table/locker/bench outside of the proposed exclusion zone around the oak. Apply organic mulch within the proposed exclusion zone. The purpose of the project is to protect the critical root zone from the current unrestricted vehicle and human activity.
The project is the protection of a prime example of native Coast Live Oak. The project will not increase the capacity or type of use.
