Document Description
The proposed Buena High School Library Renovation and Expansion Project involves the remodeling of the existing Buena High School library facilities and the construction of a 3,478 square foot addition to the library building. The area to be renovated is 6,577 square feet in size. The current library facility does not provide sufficient capacity for a student population of the size currently attending Buena High School. The reconstructed library will include 3 offices, a computer room, a classroom, areas for seating and additional storage areas for textbooks, magazines and research materials as well as an audio/visual room. Also, included is a teacher workroom and male and female restroom facilities. Parapet walls will shield all mechanical equipment located on the roof of the library structure. No exterior lighting over that which is currently located around the library will be added. Minimal landscaping will be included around the exterior of the building.
