The project applicant proposes a mixed-use development, including a hotel and conference center, a major retail store, residential development, and a main street shopping district consisting of two major retail stores, ships, restaurants, civic building, and a child day care facility. The hotel is proposed to contain 250 rooms and the conference center is proposed to be 25,000 square feet. The retail uses are proposed to be 180,000 square feet. The civic building is proposed to be 17,000 square feet. The child day care facility would be about 10,000 square feet. The civic building is proposed to be 17,000 square feet. The child day care facility would be about 10,000 square feet. A total of 772 parking spaces are proposed for the retail uses. Approximately 230 to 250 dwelling units are proposed for sale and as rental units. Project construction is anticipated to begin in the summer of 2003, with project completion in 2006.
