Document Description
A Special Use Permit is required for a cellular communications tower which will exceed the allowed 35' height limit in the Agriculture General (AG) zone. The proposed tower will be 120' tall. The tower will be a monopole design without top lighting. Three panel antennae are proposed now, with the potential to accommodate two more sets of panels at a future date. The applicant has leased a 2,000 sf area on the subject 1.5 acre parcel which will be served by a 20' access easement off of North Bank Road. The lease area will be surrounded by a 6' high chain link fence with barbed wire on top. Also proposed within the lease area will be an 8'x15' concrete slab on which one modular cell cabinet (5'hx75 sf) and one power cabinet (5.5'hx77.5 sf) will be developed. Other providers will be able to co-locate on this tower and place additional cabinets within the lease area. A Building Permit and cumulative RF Study will be required of this applicant and each future provider in order to co-locate. The parcel is currently developed with a single family residence and accessory structures.
