Document Description
The proposed new school will occupy a total of approximately 11 acres and will be an elementary school. The total school population will be approximately 500 students; typical school buildings and uses will include classrooms, administrative offices, playgrounds, library, multi-purpose rooms, cafeteria, parking (for teachers, staff and visitors), fire lanes, and landscaping. If funding and planning proceed on schedule, construction is proposed for 2004. The purpose of the proposed school is to provide for additional students based on estimated growth. The students will be the direct beneficiaries of the project. The site has been in agricultural use and there are no surface waters and/or wetlands on or adjacent to the project site.
