Document Description
Proposal to complete sidewalk infill and drainage improvements on Alice Street between 17th Avenue and Corcoran Avenue to include 4 foot wide contiguous sidewalk on the north side, curb and gutter on the south side, on-street parking (except in areas necessary to protect existing trees), reconstruction of the existing speed bumps, construction of storm drains and drainage inlets; to replace the existing sanitation sewer line as well as 1,000 feet of the existing water line within Alice Street; and, to complete sidewalk infill and drainage improvements on Corcoran Avenue between Portola Drive and Felt Street to include 4 foot wide contiguous sidewalk on the west side, and to replace an existing storm drain outfall, and, addition of flashing lights in the pedestrian crosswalk located at the intersection of Portola and Corcoran Avenue. The overall project requires removal of three trees, a 4 inch oak tree and an approximately 18 inch palm tree, a 3 inch black pine, as well as approximately 1302 cubic yards cut and 52 cubic yards fill and 1250 cubic yards of soil export. The project requires a Coastal Zone Development Permit.
