Medium and High Density Residential (Castro Valley Central Business District Specific Plan)
The County of Alameda will construct a new, approximately 41,200 square foot, single-level library facility on the 2.95-acre site. The library will accommodate the existing collection of an estimated 105,745 volumes with a total capacity of 161,100 volumes and up to 29,000 multimedia items. The project will include 145 parking spaces, landscaped areas, and a meeting room with capacity of 180.
