Permitted hours of operation: Public: 8:00 a.m - 5:00 p.m Monday - Sunday. Contract refuse collection vehicles: 4:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m Monday - Saturday. No contract refuse vehicles on Sunday. City of Palo Alto vehicles: 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., 7 days a week. Emergency use by city vehicles is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Refuse Spreading and compaction: 6:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m Monday - Saturday; 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Sundays. Site closed 7 days: New Years, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
