Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), in cooperation with the Modesto City Planning Department, the Stanislaus County Planning Department, and the Stanislaus Council of Governments (Stan COG) is proposing to widen State Route 219 in the city of Modesto in Stanislaus County, California. The proposed project would upgrade the existing roadway from a two-lane conventional highway to a four-lane conventioal highway. In addition, Caltrans would improve intersections and add a median and clear recovery zone.
