Present Land Use
The present land use of the area where the wells are proposed includes the National City Wells site, park, and vacant.
National City Wells, Well #4 would include construction of a 12-inch diameter approximately 800-foot deep well on the 1.64-acre Sweetwater Authority property northwest of the National City well site. The well would produce from 700 to 900 GPM of water. An 8-inch diameter, 750-foot long pipeline would also be constructed to deliver the well water to the existing tank at the National City Wells site. Well No. 4 would replace the failing Well No. 2, which will remain on standby.
