Excavate a pilot channel approximately 10 ft wide x 5 ft deep x 350 ft long through sandbar to initiate breaching at the river mouth hours before a high water event is forecasted to occur. This action helps reduce flooding of adjacent agricultural lands and helps reduce damage to critical habitat at the mouth.
