The proposed project will be located on a 4.32 acre parcel located at the corner of Carl Court and San Fernando Road. The San Fernando Self-Storage facility proposes to construct an 84,730 square foot storage facility with the associated 1,345 square foot office. The applicant is requesting an Adjustment to allow for a 20% increase in the FAR (from 37.5% to 45%) allowed in the Community Commercial zone. In addition, the applicant is proposing to provide 50 parking spaces for RV storage. The project site is currently vacant and is surrounded by the Community Commercial (CC) zone. Surrounding land uses include self-storage to the north and west, retail to the west, a nursery to the east, and an automotive dealer to the south (across San Fernando Road).
