Document Description
The proposed project is a skatepark and playground to be constructed within the existing Jess Martin County Park in the unincorporated community of Julian. The proposed 9,600 square foot skatepark will be located adjacent to State Route (SR) 79 and will be set on a reinforced concrete pad and surrounded by a 6-foot, vinyl covered chain link fence. The southeastern side of the skatepark facility will have an additional 6-foot, solid wood fence for sound attenuation. The playground will be designed for toddlers and pre-school children and consist of manufactured plastic and steel modules set in a bed of woodchips for safety. The proposed project will designated 20 on-site parking spaces with two handicap van accessible parking spaces in the existing parking area for the skatepark and playground area and existing improvements.
