Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is proposing to add a High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane on northbound I-405 form approximately I-10 to US-101 in the City of Los Angeles, Los Angeles County. The purpose of the proposed project is to reduce congestion and encourage carpooling. The proposed 10.2 mile HOV lane would fill in an exiting "gap" in the HOV network and provide a continuous northbound HOV lane along the entire I-405 corridor in Los Angeles County.
