Market Squid Fishery Management Plan is to manage the State's Market Squid, Loligo opalescens, fishery in accordance with the California Marine Life Management Act. The Plan should curtail the rapid expansion of the fishery, ensure sustainability of the resource and reduce the potential for overfishing.
