Document Description
The purpose of Valero Refining Company - California's MTBE Phase-OUt Project is to modify Valero's Benicia refinery to comply with the California Air Resources Board regulatory requirements to remove methyl tertiary butyl ether from produced gasoline and to produce gasoline and gasoline blendstock meeting the CARB Phase 3 Reformulated Gasoline specifications. MTBE must be eliminated from gasoline by December 31, 2003.
