Document Description
The proposed project entails construction of two raised center aisle barns, both of which will be 2,880 square feet (sf) in size (total of 5,760 sf), 16 feet, 4 inches tall and which will house up to 20 horses year round, associated with current members of the Mounted Patrol of San Mateo County. The barns are proposed to be located in the northeastern portion of the property approximately 370 feet from the front property line and 210 feet from the eastern property line. A covered manure bin, a shavings bin and two feed throughs are also proposed to the northwest of the northern barn, and turn-out corrals and related drainage improvements are also proposed. A total of 1,048 cubic yards of grading is proposed (462 cubic yards of cut and 586 cubic yards of fill) to accommodate the proposed barns and related improvements, including a proposed driveway and the installation of a fire hydrant. The existing caretakers's cottage will be utilized for housing the manager of the site and proposed barns.
