Document Description
The County of San Luis Obispo is proposing to repair the washed out earth crossing over Huer-Huero Creek on Penman Springs Road by reconstructing the earth roadway. The project entails placing 1,200 cubic yards of fill and 1,750 tons of 1/4 ton rock slope protection within the creek along the sides of the crossing. The rock slope protection will help divert the flow of the creek into two 36" by 28' corrugated steel pipes placed near the north bank of the creek. The crossing was washed out in the winter of 2001, resulting in the closure of the road.
