Document Description
The purpose of the proposed Belmont New Elementary School NO. 9, located on the south side of 65th Street between Hobart Boulevard and Serrano Avenue, is to provide 484 two-semester seats for grades K-5 and relieve overcrowding at existing Cahuenga Elementary School. The new elementary school would include approximately 44,000 sq ft of building space with 22 total classrooms. The proposed school also includes administration offices, a multi-purpose room, library, kitchen, playground areas, a covered lunch area, and an underground paring garage for 51 vehicles.
