Document Description
IRWD proposes to convert the existing San Joaquin Reservoir to reclaimed water storage to allow IRWD to maximize the use of reclaimed water through additional seasonal storage. Major design components required to convert the San Joaquin Reservoir include 1. Modifications to the reservoir for repairs; 2. Construction and operation of three pump stations, one at the reservoir and two offsite; 3. Construction of less than one mile of reclaimed water pipeline; and 4. Construction of a disinfection facility at the reservoir. Construction of the proposed project is anticipated to begin in 2003 and be completed by 2005.
