The purpose of the project is to relieve overcrowding at the existing Francis Polytechnic and North Hollywood High Schools. The project would involve renovating portions of the Anthony Office Building currently occupied by the Department of Water and Power. The new high school would accommodate a total enrollment of 2,158 students in grades 9-12.
