Document Description
The City of La Mesa is applying for a State of California Revolving Fund loan application to replace sewer lines. The project would replace approximately 63,000 linear feet of concrete sanitary sewer pipes ranging in diameter from 6-inches to 8-inches, generally located in the downtown La Mesa vicinity. The replacement pipes proposed are 8-inch plastic pipes to be installed within the same trench as the existing pipes to be removed. Approximately 51,000 linear feet of pipe is located within the public right of way and approximately 12,000 linear feet of pipe is located within easements in residential areas. Project construction is anticipated to commence within 6-8 years, after completion of the project design. The project would be completed in two phases.
