The Modoc County Department of Public Works is requesting state funding in order to re-roof the Northeastern California Regional Museum located in the City of Alturas, California. The purpose of the re-roofing project is to tear off the existing roofing material and replace it with new roofing material, thereby protecting and preserving the articles contained within the museum which reflect the rich historic character of the City of Alturas, Modoc County, and the entire Northeastern region of California.
