Document Description
The operator proposes to alter the streambed to repair an existing access road located in Tecolote Canyon Natural Park. Improvements to the road include the installation of fill and riprap at three drainage crossings to re-establish the road's original width of 16 feet. Road improvements also include the replacement of the culvert at each of the three crossings. At one of the crossings, an existing concrete basin immediately adjacent to and on the upstream side of the road will be repaired. Coastal sage scrub and southern willow scrub are the only native vegetation communities present onsite. Two of the streams are considered nonvegetated waters of the State, while the third contains a small patch of southern willow scrub vegetation. Total impact to jurisdictional streambed with associated southern willow scrub vegetation is 360 square feet.
