Document Description
Conduct archeological testing for the proposed elevator in the area immediately southwest of the Leland Stanford Mansion. The project will include lowering the garden level approximately 18". The historic brick will be systematically removed and stored for eventual replacement. Excavation for utility trenches will occur throughout the grounds. The work will be performed by a consultant.
