Document Description
The proposed project site is located on an unnamed tributary to Alameda creek at 37908 Canyon Heights Drive, in the City of Fremont, Alameda County, and involves the construction of new storm drainage facilities and improvement of the water tank access road. The proposed project consists of paving an existing unpaved dirt access road (approximately 600 linear feet by 11 feet) to facilitate year-round access and to provide associated drainage improvements to mitigate erosion and overland flow, thereby preventing runoff from flooding adjacent property. The drainage facilities will capture runoff and will be routed to a 100 foot long, 18 inch diameter corrugated steel pipe. The pipe will terminate with an T energy dissipater and a 5'-0" x 11'-3" x 18" rip-rap splash apron, installed below the ordinary high-water mark. Clearing, pipe installation, and non-grouted rip-rap placement will be accomplished manually. Revegetation of the creek embankment is expected to occur naturally. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2001-0440 pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1601.
