Document Description
Streambed Alteration Agreement R2-2001-487 pertaining to the Technical Work Plan for Over-water Borings, Thornton-Franklin Bridge Replacement Project. The agreement authorizes Espana Geotechnical Consulting to drill a single soil boring in the Mokelumne River through the deck of the existing Thornton-Franklin Bridge. The boring will be four inches in diameter and extend through recent sediments of the lower Riverbank Formation. Drill fluids will be recirculated from the boring through casing and into setting tanks on the bridge. After completion of the boring, the borehole will be grouted in accordance with Sacramento County Environmental Health Drilling Permits.
