Document Description
Replacement of the existing single-track timber railroad bridge over Tecolote Creek with a new double-track concrete slab bridge. The new bridge will accommodate a passing track in addition to the main line. The creek at this location is confined within an approximately 40-foot wide concrete lined trapezoidal channel, but is earthen with riprap banks just downstream of the project. Tecolote Creek outlets into Mission Bay just west of I-5. Fish and wildlife resources that may be adversely impacted by this project are primarily just downstream of project. These resources will be protected by requiring that the project proponent not reduce water quality during construction.
