The facility formerly specialized in the sale of halogenated solvents and the recovery (recycling) of spent solvents from sludges generated in degreasing operations. The hazardous waste recovery system (consisting of two distillation units) ceased operating in November 1993, and was subsequently decontaminated and removed in accordance with an approved closure plan.
