Document Description
Rehabilitate existing group camp at Camp Lisa in Plumas Eureka State Park to provide ADA accessibility and improved visitor services. Renovate existing combination restroom/shower building by adding additional shower and toilet for both men and women; installing metal partitions (per ADA guidelines), droptubes to allow use of existing skylights, and new exterior doors; and replacing existing flooring with freeze-resistant ceramic floor tile. Remove three existing wood sleeping platforms and replace with five compacted soil tent pads. Relocate group fire ring/gathering area to existing horseshoe pit. Construct new food prep table w/sink and group stove/BBQ; remove wood dining platform and replace with compacted soil dining area. Install five bearproof food storage lockers and garbage containers. Regrade existing parking area and install roadbase to provide adequate parking capacity for current levels of use (accommodate approximately 16-20 additional vehicles). All work will occur within confines of existing camp area.
