Document Description
The proposed improvements will widen Bradshaw Road from Calvine Road to just south of Morrison Creek to accommodate four through traffic lanes, a raised landscape median, bicycle lanes and roadside ditches. The existing bridge at Elder Creek will be removed and replaced with a new bridge structure that will be 110 feet wide to accommodate not only the proposed widening of the roadway but also the ultimate six-lane improvements. It will be widened to the west and skewed to maintain existing flow and hydraulic characteristics of the creek. A raised twelve-foot side landscaped median will be constructed for the length of Bradshaw Road. Median openings to accommodate U-turn movements will be incorporated into the design. Two-foot wide medians will be constructed for the approaches to Bradshaw Road on Florin Road and on Elder Creek Road. New modified traffic signals will be installed at the intersections of Bradshaw Road at Elder Creek Road, and Bradshaw Road at Florin Road.
