Document Description
To establish a natural gas fired electrical generation plant in an M-2; Heavy Industrial Zoning District. The project will generate 49.9 Megawatts of electrical power in order to meet the peaking needs of California electrical power users. The project will require the extension of an electrical transmission line from the project site to a sub-station on the northwest corner of the project parcel. The project will require the installation of a natural gas pipeline from a point approximately 540 feet southwest of the project site. The electrical transmission line and the natural gas pipeline will be installed within utility easements. The project is located on the Sierra Pacific Industries Mill site, approximately 2.0 miles south of Red Bluff, 2,600 feet south of the Casale Road/Reading Road Intersection. A.P.N.: 35-400-11. 143.0 acres.
