Document Description
The proposed project will involve the grading, vegetative recovery and permanent deactivation of approximately 2,800 linear feet of existing roadway (and about a 30-40 foot wide area) from the Hughes/Garrett property line to the Kelsey Creek Bridge located at the westerly edge of the Hughes property. This is the only section of the road proposed for deactivation. As proposed, the entire road surface site would be graded and the road material would be either ground in place and mixed with the sub-base aggregate, or broken up and removed offsite for recycling and seeded or planted using native species planting mix. An objective is to reduce the need for imported fill material and provide an appropriate vegetation substrate.
