Central Disposal Site Administration Building Relocation and Landfill Gas Pipeline Project

The existing administration building will be demolished, and the East Canyon landfill will be expanded onto the building site. This additional space will add approximately eight to twelve months of capacity to the landfill. This area would tie into the existing 42 acre East Canyon landfill expansion project currently being constructed. Expansion of the landfill into this area of approximately 1.9 acres would result in an air space of approximately 900,000 cubic yards. This expansion will likely require blasting as was required for the East Canyon expansion, and will use the same liner technology as is currently being used in this expansion.
