Butte City Bridge - Erosion Control
NEG - Negative Declaration
In Glenn County on SR 162, Caltrans proposes to prevent erosion along the westerly riverbank of the Sacramento River north and south of the Butte City Bridge by placing/installing 5 rock groins (~150 feet apart), extending 950 feet upstream of the bridge and Rock Slope Protection downstream of the bridge, which intends to prevent erosion, thus stabilizing and maintaining the bridge's integrity.
