Document Description
Acquisition, construction, and operation of new elementary school (K-5) at the northeast corner of Melrose Street and La Jolla Street for approximately 800 students and 75 faculty and staff. The proposed facilities will total approximately 48,000 sf on a 7.2 acre site. The buildings include permanent classrooms facilities, administrative offices, a multipurpose building, library, and food services. The existing playfields will remain on the project site, and the existing historic gymnasium will be remodeled and preserved.
