Document Description
The proposed project involves the acquisition of up to six acres of adjacent property, the demolition of exisiting facilities and the reconstruction and operation of a 3,000-student, multi-cluster public high school campus, grades 9-12. School facilities will provide 107 permanent classrooms within multi-story buildings. Additional space will be made available for the construction of portable classrooms in order to accomodate unanticipated growth. Buildings for the proposed expanded high school will cover a maximum of 270,000 square feet and will be designed with separate classroom and administrative building structures, but shared recreation and common areas. School facilities may include a gymnasium/physical education facility, a library/media center, a centralized food services facility and student dining areas, an indoor assembly/performing arts building, hardcourts and multi-purpose field space, a football field and track, a baseball field, a softball field, and on-site parking.
