Document Description
The proposed acquisition will affect surrounding single-family and multi-family dwelling units on up to approximately six acres of adjoining property. The proposed project may include the demolition and/or removal of existing school and residential structures. The school will be reconstructed with approximately 250,000 to 260,000 square feet of permanent one- to four-story classrooms and support facilities. The new facility will serve up to 3,000 students from grades 9-12 from the Gompers Secondary School Senior High Program. The proposed school expansion may include additional athletic fields, a reconstructed football stadium, a new gymnasium, and/or a performing arts building.
