Document Description
RMC Pacific Materials proposes to lease 9.2 acres of idle land from the Port of Redwood City to develop and operate a Construction Materials Park. The project will handle two imports: dredged sand imported by barge and concrete rubble imported by truck. Sand and concrete products will be trucked to construction sites in the Bay area. As part of the project, similar sand and concrete operations at another RMC site at the Port will be relocated to the project site. The project includes a new mooring facility at one of two locations with dredging requirements of 28,000 cubic yards or 57,000 cubic yards. No other new permanent buildings or facilities will be constructed.
