Document Description
Based in part on comments received on the NOP and project design considerations, the following modifications to the project description are proposed.
1. The station platforms will be moved toward the east, and lengthened to between 440 and 475 feet, which will accommodate five-car trains.
2. On-street parking along Esperanza Avenue east of the Edison power lines will be deleted.
3. On-street parking along the south side of Esperanza Avenue between the Yorba Linda Boulevard overpass and New River Road will be moved to off-street parking, at the same locale, adjacent to the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) rail right-of-way, and the number of spaces will be increased.
4. Esperanza Road will be restriped as a two-lane roadway between Yorba Linda Boulevard and New River Road.
5. The number of parking spaces along La Palma Road will be increased.
