Document Description
The City of Salinas Public Works Department proposes to construct two segments of a 2.3 kilometer, 3.7 meter wide (1.4 mile, 12 foot wide), Class I bicycle/pedestrian path along Gabilan Creek and Natividad Creek to connect Constitution Boulevard with an existing City bicycle path along Natividad Creek. The first segment of the bicycle path is from south of Constitution Boulevard to the existing bridge over Gabilan Creek and the second segment is from East Laurel Drive to Natividad Creek. The project includes construction of a prefab bridge and abutments across Natividad Creek. It anticipated that the project would be constructed within existing right-of-way and would not encroach into jurisdictional areas along Gabilan Creek and Natividad Creek.
