For the purpose of external inspections and testing, the work includes the excavation of three pipe sections of pipeline number four of the State Water Project's (SWP) Mojave Siphon. Upon completion of the inspection, which should take two to three weeks, the excavations will be backfilled and area will be returned to its original grade.
