Document Description
The Operator proposes to alter the streambed by permanently restoring Fish Creek within the northern portion of the quarry to a location representative of its pre-mining condition, or approximate position in 1954, as described in the Habitat Restoration Plan for Fish Creek, Los Angeles County, California, dated May 2001. The project involves replicating geomorphic/hydrologic processes and implementation of a comprehensive restoration plan to restore functional habitat values to the creek channel. In addition, a fish barrier within the northern portion of the project site will be removed.
