Document Description
The Operator proposes to alter the stream channel by removing debris that is currently blocking drainage of an existing stand pipe, revegetate the slope and low-flow channel upstream of the stand pipe, and re-grade portions of the slope north of the low-flow to mitigate erosional effects of potential future land slides. The proposed project permanently impacts no more than 0.31 acre of stream bed and bank. The area is 90% devoid of vegetation; the 10% of vegetated area is dominated by exotic species, primarily mustard and sweet fennel. The operator shall mitigate for impacts as follows: hydroseed and install container plants on the slope and drainage areas with native plants as per the submitted planting plan. A total of 1,392 one-gallon container plants will be planted. All exotic vegetation in the project area shall be removed.
