Document Description
The operator proposes to replace the existing failing wood retaining walls along the east bank of Reliez Creek, adjacent to Caselton Place in Lafayette, Contra Costa County. The new wall will protect the driveway and the dry utilities. The existing walls would be replaced by a concrete retaining wall approximately 60' long and 4-6' high. The new wall will be in the approximate same location as the lower wood wall. Helical piers will be used to hold the wall in place along with helical tiebacks. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2001-0876 pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1603.
