Document Description
The project calls for the removal of approximately 8,000-10,000 cubic yards of silt. The project proposes to remove four to six feet (depth) of accumulated silt from the two acre pond. An excavator and a front end loader will be used to remove the silt. The material will be transported and used for soil amendment and maintenance of the Aetna Springs golf course, part of the applicant's property. All work will be done within the existing footprint of the pond. The proposed work will take approximately two weeks. The work will be done when the pond is dry. No work will be done that encroaches the natural portions of Aetna Creek. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2001-0771 pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1603.
