The Calaveras County Water District is releasing water from a fire hydrant in the Forest Meadows development that flows through a fire hose and discharges into the Utica Ditch Water Users Association. This project is considered an alternative supply to the Utica Ditch downstream of the point that the Ditch was destroyed by the Darby Forest Fire.
