Document Description
The project is an issuance of a permit by DTSC for continued operation of hazardous waste treatment units and storage units. The treatment units are two boiler and industrial furnaces (BIF or halogen acid furnaces (HAF)) and associated hydrochloric acid recovery and air pollution control systems. These two HAF units and associated units have BIF interim status authorization under DTSC. These HAF units also currently operate under their respective Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD) permits that contain specific conditions and limitations.
